1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and to remember information about your preferences or actions.

Cookies can be "session cookies", which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies", which remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called "first-party cookies". Cookies set by other organisations (for example, analytics or advertising providers) are called "third-party cookies".

In addition to cookies, we may use similar tracking technologies such as pixel tags (web beacons), local storage, and JavaScript-based identifiers. This Policy covers all such technologies collectively.

2. Who Sets Cookies on This Website

Cookies on this website are set by Oligamy Software sp. z o.o. (operating as Oligamy Marketing), registered at Nowiec 38, 80-293 Gdansk, Poland, NIP: 5833433323, and by selected third-party providers listed in Section 5. We act as the data controller for first-party cookies and as a data processor or joint controller (where applicable) for third-party cookies, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • To ensure the website functions correctly and securely
  • To understand how visitors interact with our website and which pages are most visited
  • To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Google and LinkedIn
  • To enable retargeting of visitors who have shown interest in our services
  • To remember your cookie preferences

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as filling in a form or setting your privacy preferences. You can configure your browser to block these cookies, but doing so may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.

Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies under the EU ePrivacy Directive.

5. Third-Party Cookies and Data Processors

Some cookies on this website are placed by third-party providers. Each provider operates under its own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:

Where third-party cookies involve the transfer of data outside the European Economic Area (for example, to Google servers in the United States), such transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent adequacy mechanisms, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your Cookie Choices and Rights

EU and EEA residents

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, we are required to obtain your prior consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device. When you first visit this website, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline each category of optional cookie.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, click the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of any page, or contact us directly at marketing@oligamy.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

UK residents

The UK has retained rules equivalent to the EU ePrivacy Directive following its departure from the EU. The same consent requirements apply. Your rights regarding cookies set by this website are equivalent to those described for EU residents above.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

Cookies that collect personal information for advertising purposes may constitute "sharing" of personal information under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We do not sell personal information collected via cookies. You have the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising by declining marketing cookies in our consent banner or by emailing marketing@oligamy.com with the subject "Opt-Out of Cookie Sharing".

Managing cookies via your browser

You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies from specific websites. Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of this website and others you visit. Browser-specific instructions:

Opting out of Google Analytics specifically

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal, which is a preference you can set to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. There is currently no agreed technical standard for DNT signals, so we do not alter our data practices in response to DNT signals alone.

We do recognise the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where technically feasible. If your browser sends a GPC signal and you are located in a jurisdiction that requires us to honour it (such as California), we will treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information via cookies.

8. Cookie Retention

Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for the duration specified in the cookie table in Section 4, or until you delete them manually. Where consent is withdrawn, we instruct third-party providers to stop setting new cookies, but existing cookies may remain until their natural expiry unless you clear them via your browser settings.

9. Updates to This Policy

We review this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in the cookies we use, applicable laws, or regulatory guidance. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, request fresh consent via the cookie banner.

We recommend checking this page occasionally to stay informed about our cookie practices.
